Crystal Clear water gives you a 13 inch sulfur filter, 64,000 grain unit. The “other guys” give you a small 10″, 54,000 unit. A bigger tank is not just for the amount of people in your home, it also increases the flow rate per minute allowing you to run the washer, water heater & shower at the same time etc. That’s higher flow. 10 inch tanks only give you about 6-7 gpm, 350 gallons per day usage. A 13 inch tank yields 9-10 gpm, 450-500 per day usage.
The air pocket on the 13 inch has larger air chamber. The larger air chamber provides more oxidation which will cause more sulfur to be removed.
