IS YOUR HOME GETTING COLD WATER WHEN IT SHOULD BE WARM?
When it comes to water heaters you have a multitude of options. There’s a number of manufacturers and they all produce a number of types that can prove to be a little confusing to those unfamiliar with these systems. We here at Crystal Clear Water pride ourselves on our familiarity with these systems and can easily help you select the right one! Make sure to also ask us about our Lifetime Warranty water heaters.
Types of Water Heaters
Gas Water Heaters
Gas water heaters are pretty easy to understand, but getting the wrong size can be an extremely bad thing. Without the proper size, your water might not be properly heated throughout the house. These water heaters function by heating up cold water and storing hot water until it’s used. A gas burner helps make this water warm up.
Electric Water Heaters
An electric water heater is also very similar to a gas water heater. Getting the proper size of these types of heaters is always important to ensure that your whole home receives warm water. Much like the gas water heater, an electric water heater takes in cold water and heats it up before storing the hot water away. This cold water is heated through electric heating elements inside the tank.
Hybrid Water Heaters
Hybrid water heaters are very unique. These water heaters use the heat in the air and the ground to heat up the water. In order to do so, these water heaters use electricity to move heat from the ground or air into the water. However, something important to note is that these water heaters use up to 60 percent less electricity than other traditional water heaters.
Tankless Water Heaters
A tankless water heater relies on super-heated coils that fill up with and heat water in a matter of moments. Due to the quick access to heated water, it is also commonly referred to as an on-demand water heater. This type of water heater is great for those who need hot water at immediate times. It is very important to make sure you get the right size for your home otherwise the warm water may come out lukewarm or, even worse, cold. These water heaters also use natural gas to power them.
